Another quote from the NYT Elderly ‘Experts’ Share Life Advice article, and something that I need as a sign at my desk so I can remember it daily.
This is essentially the crux of one of my goals for this year: I can’t control the factors in this world that stress me out, but I can control my attitude and how I react to the stressers. It’s very much an easier said than done thing, since I still find myself sweating the small things, but it’s something that I am excited to work on, because honestly, I am such a ball of anxiety and tension and this needs to change.
